Does BingeBop provide channels or content?
No. BingeBop is a media player — it plays the sources you already have or subscribe to. We don't supply, host, or sell any channels, films, or subscriptions.
What can it play?
Xtream Codes and M3U/M3U8 playlists, HDHomeRun and other network tuners, Stalker portals, and your own video files.
Which devices are supported?
Android TV and Fire TV devices — from a Fire TV Stick up to an NVIDIA Shield — and Android TV boxes. The app runs on API 25+ (Android 7.1). Desktop is on the roadmap.
How does "keep it forever" work?
Pro is an annual subscription. If you cancel, you keep the features that were included while you paid — for good. Renewing unlocks new features; it never holds your software hostage.
Do I need an account?
No. Free, single-device playback needs no account at all. You only sign in to manage a Pro household across multiple devices.
Is my data private?
Your playlists, stream URLs, and what you watch stay on your device and home network — we never collect them. Anonymous crash and reliability data is sent if you opt in (on by default, one toggle to turn it off). See our Privacy Policy.
Is there an API?
Yes. BingeBop exposes an HTTP API on port 18080 with 113 endpoints for playback control, search, EPG, recording, and automation. See the API reference.
